AHAP Annual Conference

Countdown to Conference

Days to the Event

Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, NV
May 6-7, 2010

The annual Association for Healthcare Accreditation Professionals (AHAP) conference is the conference for all things accreditation.

Launched in September 2006, AHAP now has close to 500 members. The 2010 conference will be the association’s fourth annual conference, and you don’t have to be a member to attend.

Thanks to all attendees who joined us for the Third Annual AHAP Conference that took place recently in Las Vegas. We hope you found some new networking options, gained ideas for how better to do your jobs, and will take those lessons back to your facility. Additionally, we hope you learned more about how to prepare for your next survey and about some of the most pressing accreditation issues facing professionals like yourselves every day. Please join us again next year!

AHAPInsider is a quarterly, electronic journal exclusively for AHAP members. It features inside information from experts and peers, analysis and best practices you won't find anywhere else, as well as AHAP member news and information about upcoming member events.

What's New

Our most recent working group calls took place February 24 and 26. The topic was infection control, and we had some great discussions. Thanks to all of you who joined in, and a special thanks to our guest participant Jodi Eisenberg MHA, CPMSM, CPHQ, CSHA, chair of the AHAP advisory board and program manager of accreditation and clinical compliance at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
